Level 1 Classes
Creative Movement Classes for Ages 2-4 (Must turn 3 by December to participate.)
Monday 2:30-3:00 p.m. FULL

Creative Movement offers a fun and educational experience to new young dancers. Through imagination and dramatic play, these classes integrate fine and gross motor movements, spatial skills and rhythm as well as intellectual concepts of self-esteem and teamwork. We will cover the basics of ballet including the positions of the feet and arms. This is a great class to prepare your student for many dancing years to come! The students are required to wear a leotard and tights of any color. Shoes are not required for this class. Creative Movement students may be chosen by the instructor to perform in the annual recital.
Recreational classes
Tuesday 3:30-4:15 p.m. 3-5 years old Ballet/Tap combo FULL
Tuesday 4:15-5:00 p.m. 6-9 years old Ballet/Tap combo Still enrolling-2
Recreational classes are for students who want to take one dance class per week. Each student is required to wear pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes with a black or pink leotard and pink or tan tights. Boys should wear black dance pants and a white t-shirt with black ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Recreational classes participate in our annual recital by performing their ballet and tap numbers. Recreational students are not required to perform in the recital. If you aren't ready to make the commitment of being a performer and just want to enjoy learning to dance, these are the classes for you!
Technical classes

Technical classes are classes where terminology, combinations, theories, conditioning, and flexibility are taught. If you are looking to improve your dance ability without the pressure of preparing for a performance, a technical class is the right fit for you. Technical classes are also open to performance students who want to improve their ability. Students are placed in technical classes by the instructor. A showcase is available to parents at the end of the semester to give the students the opportunity to show the combinations they have learned.
Level 2 Performance Classes
All of our Performance Classes are FULL. Please contact us to be put on our waiting list. If you would like to have the option of becoming an Apprentice (dance with one of these groups but not perform) for one of these classes, please contact us by February 15th.

Performance classes are combo classes that prepare students for various performances through out the year. In order to be placed in a performance group, you must have previous dance experience or be chosen by the instructor. Performance groups perform in multiple performances during the season including festivals, parades, showcases, and recitals!

Our competitive students are required to take their competition class as well as the conditioning class scheduled. The Dance Studio is planning on attending two dance competitions in the Spring of 2014. Tan Jazz Shoes, Pink Ballet Shoes, Black Tap shoes, lyrical paws, and Hip Hop sneakers may be required for competitive students. Competitive students are responsible for entry, travel, and costume fees. Fundraisers are available through out the year to aid with competition fees.
